As we start thinking about Christmas gifts, more and more of us will need to watch our spending. But does that mean the gifts that we give have to be somehow ‘less’?
A thoughtful gift doesn’t have to damage the earth or our bank balance. Vouchers of time — like babysitting or doing the ironing or cooking for someone will be enormously appreciated. Perhaps you have a favourite recipe that you could copy out on fancy paper to pass on?
If you know someone will love the gift, does it matter whether it’s pre-loved?
