Toy Bank for Christmas

Did you know that 80% of all toys end up in landfill?! The School Uniform Bank Team were pondering about this and wondered if we could start a pre-loved toy revolution!

Building on the success of the School Uniform Bank in the summer, we’ve decided to give running a Toy Bank a try.

Drop off your clean, unwanted toys/games/books in good condition then collect something else a few days later! Items must be something you’re OK to donate and in a condition you’d be happy to receive yourself.

It’s free, but any donations will go to Refugee Action York.

Drop-off Days and Places:

  • 10am–11:30pm Monday 25th November Monday Monkeys playgroup at our church

  • 9:30am–4pm Thursday 28th November At our church

Don’t have anything to hand in?

Come and find something anyway!

Pick-up Day:

  • 1pm–4pm Sunday 1st December At our church

We’re keeping it simple—no complicated token or voucher system. We’re just trying to encourage people to give more preloved presents and to have a bit more of a sustainable Christmas.
